I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my trip. The hotel's location was perfect, with a taxi stand just outside and central areas within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning that worked perfectly during the hot weather. The breakfast included in the price was delicious, with a variety of options like eggs, honey, jam, and special Moroccan tea. The hotel also had reliable wifi, which was important for staying connected.
No issues.

I absolutely loved the cozy and traditional decor of Riad Dar Sahrawi. The beautiful Moroccan tiles, colorful cushions, and intricate details made me feel like I was staying in a traditional Moroccan home. The general areas of the riad, such as the shared lounge and terrace, were also well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize with other guests. Moreover, the accessibility of the hotel was excellent for senior people like me. The location outside the medina was convenient, and taxis could drop me off right in front of the riad, saving me from long walks or navigating through crowded streets.
The only thing I would ask for to make it an even better vacation for senior people is if there were more comfortable seating options throughout the riad. Sometimes, the low sofas and cushions were a bit challenging to get up from, especially for those with mobility issues.

I absolutely loved the interior design of this charming riad. The children working there have created a warm and inviting atmosphere with their attention to detail and traditional Moroccan decor. The general areas, such as the lounge and terrace, were beautifully furnished and accessible for senior people like myself.
My only suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more comfortable seating options throughout the hotel. It would have been nice to have additional cushioned chairs or loungers, especially on the terrace, to provide extra comfort and relaxation.

My son and I had a fantastic stay at Riad Dar Sahrawi. The location was perfect, as it was close to all the attractions in Marrakesh but tucked away on a quiet street. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The owner, Ayoub, was incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early and even being understanding when my son accidentally broke the window. The breakfast spread was delicious, and we felt right at home during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

Great location, just a short walk to the main square and close to a taxi stand. The staff was friendly and helpful, always available and spoke English. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief in the hot weather. The breakfast included eggs, honey, jam, Moroccan tea, and bread. The internet wifi also worked fine.
We had a few negative experiences during our stay. The room had a lack of privacy, as there were no curtains or means to block out the light.

The double room at Riad Dar Sahrawi was absolutely amazing! It had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hot days in Marrakesh. The washing machine was super convenient, allowing us to pack light. And let's not forget the terrace with beautiful garden views, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The private bathroom with a walk-in shower was like a mini spa retreat. we felt so comfortable and pampered in this room!
Personally, we didn't really use the fireplace in the double room. But hey, we understand that some guests might love the cozy ambiance it creates.

Speaking of helpful staff, let me tell you about the time I accidentally locked myself out of my room. It was quite embarrassing, but the front desk staff came to my rescue faster than a speeding bullet. They were like language superheroes, effortlessly switching between Arabic, English, French, and Indonesian as if they had superpowers. With their guidance, I was back in my room in no time, feeling like a secret agent who had just cracked a lock code.
Limited facilities.

Great location, spacious rooms without bunk beds, clean bathrooms, close to the Medina but not in the maze-like alleys. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, allowed early check-in. Professional and responsible handling during unexpected event. Ideal for solo female travelers. Highly recommended.
